The… colors. So pretty! (°∀°)
Oh my god those colours.
Also, I totally remember those guys!
you do? where from?
There’s preliminary sketches of these guys on Erin’s DeviantArt account.
This comic makes me think of Jonah Hex- just a little.
So long as it’s the comic and not the movie you’re thinkin’ of … that’s just fine with me.
yeah, definately the comic- the movie was… odd.
Ah, this gorgeous! Just a gorgeous mix of mood and montage.
Listening to King Crimson’s “I talk to the wind” just makes it even more calm and colourful.
WOW! I just found this web-comic a week ago, and I love it! the colors, the characters, the page layouts, I love it all! I just wanted to share that, and also mention I can’t wait to see where the rest of the story takes me.
Thank you kindly — glad to have you along.
I want to know how she survived being hung AND burned alive… those scorch marks on her cloak indicate she was REAL close to the flames…
She’s … tenacious.
I swear this comic just keeps getting better and better!
thats some nice open space.
Thanks, ma’am. The opener the better. Saves me drawing any difficult features.
Panel 1 looks like a nice place to level.
shh, those are things we don’t tell people, they will know our secrets.
Just gorgeous! These panels would be right at home in a NTO wall calender
Have you ever made a time lapse video of your coloring process?
Recording myself drawing/painting is a terrifying concept; I dunno how all those folks that live stream do it.
Maybe I could handle time lapse. It’d hide much of the waffley noodliness.
The backgrounds are just flat out awesome here. How much work did you do on the pencils for them? Or were the backgrounds entirely digital? They have this really nice softness to them.
Good eye; they’re all digital, yeah. On natural environments I pretty much just scribble a horizon line and draw the characters and paint the backgrounds in PS.
It really works. Especially that sort of coffee stain styled wash you have over them. Really hits home the western aspect of them without going full on sepia or something like that.
I found this through Project Wonderful and sat down and starting reading it. It’s awesome and I’m looking forward to reading more. GREAT looking site, I love the design. Very, very nice. Glad I came across you.
Much obliged for the kind words — and your sponsership! I hope you’ll stick around!
Heavily seconded. Found you through Alpha Flag and haven’t put you down since. <3!
Loving the art and intrigued by the story. You’ve garnered another reader.
I’m in from The Guns of Shadow Valley, which I totally recommend. Fans of this comic should find it fabulous.
Thank you kindly, and I agree re: Guns of Shadow Valley.
This is a fun comic and I love her belt buckles!
Very interesting that she’s still wearing the noose, after a day or so of escaping.
This comic feels like a scence from samurai jack(which was a good show). The colors are great, and I’m excited to see where this goes.
Is she loading the same gun all day long?
Nope, she’s fixing it.
been said enough but damn those colours just jump out of from my screen
