They think Vane is a man?? Or is that just “boilerplate” text for Wanted posters that they didn’t think to change?
LOL, danget, I was about to mention “apparently Vane had a lot of surgery done at some point.” XD
The misgender was a goof, guys. But it’s now fixed — thanks for the catch!
We’re only funnin’ with you, gal. You know we love you.
First, it is shocking, SHOCKING, I say, to see those…unmentionables being aired in the streets. Won’t someone think of the children?!
And second, it looks like Veronique Dauterive has earned her own Wanted poster! It’s only in the 4 figures at the moment, but keep it up V, just a few more dead seamstresses and structure fires and you too can make it to the big leagues!
The $1000 wanted poster is actually for Gorgeous Georgia (and her Girlfriends) from Cutter & Ironwood, NTO’s Patron-only cousin comic.
I wonder if the crow and the cur near the unmenionables drying in the dusty breeze have some deeper meaning here …
And Erin – the fancy posting for the “Reading lessons, free of charge” – I see what you did there.
Wow, I never knew her full name was Vanity. Neat.
Vane has a first name? SHOCKING!!! WHAT WILL WE LEARN ABOUT THESE CHARACTERS NEXT??
On reflection, we’ve never actually seen her first name, haven’t we?
Ooo this one will be interesting.
My ex-girlfriend has a first name, it’s V-A-N-I-T-Y
And again I asks, where the hell is the posse?!? B-T-W Erin I received my two lapel pins last month and I wanted to say they are beautiful and I know they’ll look great on my motorcycle jacket. Thank you, and keep up the great work.
She’s so Vane…
Just read through the back catalog
Shouldn’t it read:
Vanity “Vane” Black
Dead or Deader
Interesting Story so far. Also love the flipping between memory and reality as a burn though on the page.
Her status isn’t commonly known.
