Thanks again to Gus Carlson for illustrating this short for me!
Bloody hell! That’s either a powerful gun, a good shot or both.
that’s not a gun!!
THAT’S A F–KIN CANNON!!
That, folks, is the birth of a legend.
That was an interesting short. I particularly liked the page with the giant crocodile bursting out of the swamp, hinting at the greater cunning of the creature. I am curious how the story of the kid continues…
Not only is the kid an incredible shot with that elephant gun, he’s a fan of Johnny Weir’s hairstylist!
How the heck did that gun do THAT much damage without knocking the kid down and breaking his shoulder? Possibly the gun fires explosive/fragmentation shells?
Well 99, it could be a 10 Ga. the young fellow now possesses, but it’s hard to tell as the proportions are hard to discern. But if you ever fired one of those beast, they do pack quite a whalup. As for the exploding shells? Yeah it kind a looks that way.
Probably explosive, it looks like it’s exploding out both ways where it hit.
Also it didn’t break his shoulder because it wasn’t braced against it 😉
Somebody rolled a Crit, tripling the damage, and got the max on whatever dice that system’s using.
Top o’ the food chain … er, evening to ya’, lad.
Actually if you look at the first panel He is knocked back by the shot
