Well one (big nosed) fella just sealed his untimely demise.
Sure looks it.
It seems to be a page missing from how the amazonian native and John Henry got caught, and almost to easily. Also, our big nosed jailer while a tall fella, is clearly no match for either of his captives. Somethings afloat here at Fort Fairbanks, and I reckon the fireworks will start soon.
Obviously the horses turned them in. 😀
I assume the horse robbery didn’t work out that well for Hunter, and that we will soon learn what happened to the lady.
Given Hunter’s expression in that last panel, I think he stole the horse on purpose, to get arrested and be put in jail with the Indian lady. No idea why he wanted to do that, though.
John Henry has often been seeking various magical items/knowledge. Perhaps Ms. “Cornflower” knows something of interest to the suave Mr. Hunter.
I agree, a page seems to be missing. Oh, she’s likely Native American, not Amazonian.
I don’t think the woman is either native American or Amazon. Native something yes, but what I’m not sure. I only say Amazon because she’s big, strong, and yes, very deadly like one. Not someone I’d particularly want to cosy up to on a cold night.
So do the two murderers compare notes?
One wonders how the sheriff or marshal caught Hunter without getting fried.
I was thinking that, and I now think that Hunter wanted to get caught. I mean, if he didn’t want to be caught, there wouldn’t be a lot whole that big-schozzed tiddlywink could do to stop him (why did I say tiddlywink??).
I din’t know, but it made me laugh.
Well, at least it was good for something!
it looks clearly that was his intention, i mean, if he didn’t wanted to be captured, why steal a supposed old, weak horse?, and even worse, why he didn’t used any of his majicks to fry the one chasing him or the man who carried him to the cell where that woman was
I agree with all of the above- and really, HOW did Hunter know about the woman? He must have psychic powers along with the fire powers.
I particularly enjoy the effects of the snow coming in through the door, as well as all these expressions.
I don’t know that Hunter did know about the woman, really. That would be a stretch even for him. I think it’s more likely this is just a coincidence albeit one Hunter can most likely spin in his favor.
People jaw, ya know. Put a drink into em and they’ll tell you a lot. I’m guessin that Hunter was lookin for her. Stole that particular horse with that particular brand so that he’d end up in the proper lock up with the proper sentence. But I’m just guessin. Hunter doesn’t waste time (sorry–the revenge for swiping that gold timepiece will be a sight to uh shield your eyes from). And things have ramped up after that last episode.
