OOh, I want to play thru that town in an RPG. I smell side quests EVERYWHERE. *Gets fishing rod and Nirnroot detector*
You can hear the Nirnroot from up here.
woah! the horse is back!? and isthis his home?
I think he is visiting, but left his nightmare outside of town because he figures it would spook the locals. Or maybe it is now like Ghost Riders flame cycle, which he can create and absorb at will.
I’m sure we’ll find out eventually…
An ominous comic number for his reappearance.
Page 5? That is ominous!
PS I know you are talking about the status bar page, but I didn’t check there until I had double-checked the actual story page number…
Wow! That 1st panel is so awsome! I almost didn’t see the carvings on the building with 4 chimneys! That’s some advertising!
Ha. Good catch at this distance. I barely drew them in at all. You’ll get a better look at them in a subsequent panel, I promise.
I like how that one kid is apparently tough enough to be knocking the crap out of someone kinda older and larger than him.
xD YES! But remember kids, it’s not really roughhousing until one of you is casually covered in blood. D:
I thought Hunter’d be worse-off, somehow.
OMG such a beautiful top panel. And I was starting to wonder what was happening with the other spy in this western version of Spy vs Spy.
“Come in peace, travelers”
Oh, you poor people.
“This is why we can’t have nice things!”
Oh, look at the nice town! All those wooden houses, so intricate and so flammable! And all that water!
I can’t telly you just how relieved I am there aren’t any deranged, homicidal maniacs with either pyrokinetic powers or carrying excessive amounts of caustic potash on their person in the vicinity.
No siree, this town is perfectly safe, and the residents are not at all at risk from accidental dismemberment or immolation.
And that’s a nice bridge they’ve got there.
Hunter taking casual stroll through town in ragged, bloodied clothies with big hole in his stomach and acting totally casual about it. I just love this.
And that effect of (Tea? Coffee?) stains on clouds and as it almost looks as there are sunbeams shining through clouds.
That first panel is downright the best cover/poster/wallpaper picture I’ve see here. Second place is taken by everything sun prairie’s flowers related (totally coincidental with the fact I stumbled upon this story right when it was exploding things on said prairie).
Oops, I forgot to mention the awesomeness of panel one. I guess the art is always so good, that I don’t even think to gush anymore. But that is no excuse.
Also, I didn’t notice the water stain until you mentioned it. Good eyes.
I love the giant waterfalls leading into the town [and the mist effect].
I super-love the fact that at least one of those kids is trying to decide whether or not he would be able to take this bloody stranger. [stranger to him, anyways].
Mostly, though, I just can’t get enough of that crazy flaming horse!!! Seriously the coolest comic on the web
Well thank you very much for saying so.
I am thinking a town with that much water would be bad for our anti-hero.
Oooooooh I get it now. Shoot da bullets inta da water, water blows up, showers down on flame b@$t@rd, guy gets soaked, guy….maybe can’t make so much fire?
70% of the human body is water, more or less.
If you can’t harm Hunter with potholes made .38 and the likes,
maybe it’ll hurt him more if half of his Torso is missing.
I can’t wait the read the next one
