I am suddenly quite concerned for ol’ Bert here.
I’m not concerned for Bert… I’m concerned for the shopkeeper.
Bert is gonna lose his shirt–while Will the shopkeeper will probably lose his shop! Hopefully Baron crossing will not suffer an increase premium on fire insurance any time soon.
My hybrid warlock/wizard from a D&D campaign I play looks very much alike our resident pyromancer here.
With the added fact that I chose tiefling as race. Quite suitable I might say considering setting some innocent villagers on fire :D.
On topic, I hope it all ends well for Baron’s Crossing.
Hmm, what’s the thingie on the back of Hunter’s neck? (panel 2, in panel 4 he puts his right hand on it)
I’m glad someone noticed.
…I’m not going to tell you, but I’m glad someone noticed. 🙂
I do believe that’s the feather he picked up a while back.
That’s no feather. He’s always had a white streak of hair back there; check out the fourth panel in Lookback page 5. But there’s definitely a scar on his neck we haven’t seen before. It’s been covered by his fancy jacket and such.
OOoh, clarification; he hasn’t ALWAYS had a white streak back there. On his wanted poster and in flashbacks, he doesn’t have white in his hair or beard. So despite his amazing healing abilities and fire magic, he does age, he’s not immortal. Or if he IS immortal, he can weaken.
I’m glad I’ve noticed something important 😀 (And I am sorry for such a late response but in one moment everything around me was acting soooo faaaast I’ve just a while ago noticed that so much time passed).
But that scar does not mean that he played too much Mortal Kombat and somebody ripped his spine out of his body? That would be a somewhat sad experience for our dear Mr. Hunter.
I wondered if this was shown earlier so I looked through the archives again. I think you can see it back in Whiskey Bend pg.7 and 15. Perhaps some sort of scar?
Don’t deal with the devil Bert!
If Hunter is going to give Bert a good deal on his gold watch, it’s going to end up being a good deal for HUNTER, not for Bert!
I think Hunter’s watch (or its contents) might have too much for him to get rid of it.
But yeah, whatever happens, Bert’s in trouble. 😛
Too much sentimental value, that is. 😉
Yay, hunters gonna come out on top of this deal somehow.
That guy looks like the guy from the short story Snake!!!
I guess people roll in with dried blood all the time.
