You know, at no point have we seen this guy be a “bad guy.” All he does is gamble and run away! Unless he illusioned up some fake money.. I suppose.
Hm.. went back and reread the archive. I may want to retract that statement.
Yeah I think other than our protagonist no one has seen him do bad things.
You mean when he lit those two bodyguards on fire, burned down a saloon, stole the pendant…all that was okay with you?
I keep hearing ZZTop “Sharp Dressed Man” for some reason…
Now I’m gonna have that MTV video playing in my head all day!
Heh. I’m hearing Arnie saying “Giff me your close…”
Ehh, his beard’s too short for it.
xD Great, now he’s dressed to kill! Oh wait, undead opponent… 😕
That bloodstain over his shoe is gonna stand out with such nice clothes. ( I like the scrollwork on the vest.) I wonder if Hunter is tied to the watch like in the movie All Dogs Go To Heaven? As long as the watch is working he can’t die.
Wow, I never would have noticed the shoe if you hadn’t mentioned it. Nice details.
It really amuses me how well the new clothes fit Hunter when you consider the fact the guy he bought them from seems to be about half his size, especially when it comes to shoulder width…
However, the idea of him buying some other guy’s clothes rather than going into a tailor’s shop and having some made (not likely a small town such as Baron’s Crossing would have had any ready-to-wear clothes, especially to Hunter’s taste) is logical when you consider the fact he’s currently being followed and doesn’t have a few days to spare for getting new duds. Yet this is really one of those details a lot of stories seem to completely disregard, so kudos on averting this.
The bloodstain on his spats is also a nice detail in terms of scene continuity.
Soo… is Hunter is a wanted man, presumably doesn’t have access to a steady income, and he’s being followed by a murderous vigilante. We haven’t seen him eat even once so far. And the first stop he makes after being nearly gutted is… to replace his fancy clothes.
Either he’s evil, or he’s very vain. Either way, he’s a badass mo-fo.
Now let’s see what kind of trouble he’s going to stir up in those fancy duds. My money is on either shmoozing and scamming, or using his old clothes to create a decoy trap for Vane.
We also don’t see what he does all the time. It’s easy enough to say during moments where we concentrate on other people he hunts or nonesuch and get’s his food pre-cooked.
Well, he’s got a mite bit of time on his hands while his pursuer pauses to blacksmith up some new weapons every now and then.
Erin, you keep getting better and better. This is crazy. Let the rest of us keep up.
Pft. I am scrabbling to improve to even stay in roughly the same league as you/Renee.
It seems the extent of Ms. Black’s crimes far outway anything we’ve seen good Mr. Hunter do? In fact, the only crimes we’ve seen him perform are arson, theft and witchcraft.
He even seems to care more about the populace than Black does, which really isn’t saying much, but we’ve yet to see Hunter shoot two fingers off a man who’s only crime was asking what the hell was going on.
H. wears that watered silk vest with so much more panache than Bert ever would have…
I kept looking in the store for wooden ducks and postholers.
