I would LOVE to see this strip animated! You have a fantastic ability to lay out a scene that captures the action, someone could use these as storyboards!
I love this page! You are so awesome at action pages .
Dammit Hunter, don’t use the bridge, the Headless Horseman uses that!
Seriously though, outside of Marshal Snowman, this comic could seriously tolerate a Headless Horseman going on in it too.
The Headless Horseman know better than to mess with this neighborhood.
The flow/layout here IS great, with everyone and everything moving to the right. Following the action is smooth and fast, like reading a book. There’s even a nice, containing symmetry with the opposing dutch angles in the first and last panels. 😮
It’s wonderful stuff like this that makes me wonder which side of the eventual comic book a page will be printed on.
All odd-numbered pages will automatically be on the righthand side of a spread — this one faces 20.
Ah, makes that last panel an even better page-turner, then. 🙂
How much longer til the entire back story is layed out? The suspense is killing me!
Quite a while — it’s sort of the point! But I will say the next chapter is way less horse chases and explosions and way more expository stuff though, relative to 1-4.
Hunter must have heard that whistle, and he must know what it means. Quite complicated lives these characters have.
when she comes out of the bathhouse her eyes are just glowing and it is just frickin awesome
